Our Accommodation
Southern Ocean Lookout was built in 2001, with an extensive renovation in 2016. Our accommodation features a large open plan living, dining and fully equipped kitchen on the upper level, and 3 bedrooms downstairs. The balcony provides a true “Lookout” on the scene over the sea, land and shifting population of kangaroos, emus and birds which include wedge-tailed eagles, sea eagles, Port Lincoln parrots and many more. The house looks out over the sea with magnificent views to the west. The owners live in a separate house and it is set back from the Lookout, facing north-east. Although the houses share a common wall, each house has a separate driveway and front door. The owners’ house has no impact on the sea views from the Lookout and they are there on site to assist you with any practicalities.

- Laundry has a second WC, washing machine and laundry tub, which can be used as a bathtub for smaller children.
- Undercover outside courtyard with table and benches equipped with Weber Q BBQ.
- Downstairs, the largest bedroom can also function as a TV/sitting room, as it houses the second television and a couch.

This bedroom has a double bed and a queen fold out sofa bed. This room can also double as a second sitting room with the sofa and a television, ceiling fan and reverse cycle air-conditioning. An additional single mattress on the floor is available.
